Smith St Fair!

Thank you, thank you everyone who stopped by! I had such a fun day -- although I'm totally exhausted and sunburned. (I think it wouldn't have been half as exhausting if I hadn't been right across from the salsa-dancing booth... that is some loud, high-powered music! At least I learned a few moves, though.)

This was the top-selling photo of the day:

"Butterflies"

I'll have all my fine art photography online soon, where it'll be available for purchase. In the meantime, you should check out my friend, Jenny Jozwiak, whose exotic travel photography is available online. She does colorful, vibrant work, and has traveled all over the world.

Wedding: Jamie + Joseph

June 16, 2007
Stamford Yacht Club

From elegant, white parasols, a first dance to the Grateful Dead, to climbing on the roof to get a shot of the whole wedding party -- Jamie and Joseph's wedding couldn't have been more enchanting.

(One of the best "Livin' on a Prayer" performances I've seen yet)

Apparently I always make this face when dancing... one of the guests grabbed my camera and took this rather excellent photo!

I love all the anxious faces waiting for Jamie to throw her bouquet!

Jamie and Joe were such a unique, non-traditional couple -- and running down to the dock for a midnight boat ride was a wonderfully dramatic ending to the night! Congratulations to you both!

p.s. Another guest at the wedding, also named Lauren, exclaimed "you have the best job in the world!" And I'm not just saying this, but I completely agree.

Yvette + Jayson: Engaged!

I went traipsing around the Meatpacking District yesterday with the fatally gorgeous Yvette and Jayson. There was some other film or commercial shoot happening nearby, but this is who everyone was staring at.

(If I asked for fierce, that's obviously what I got.)

I absolutely love this last one and kind of want to put it on my wall! They look so elegant and timeless.

Yvette and Jayson, thanks for a fun evening! I can't wait for the wedding!!
